Further to my last post – a quick update. The egg rolling took place between the various painted competitors.
I am happy to report that my ‘Scotch egg’ of the Highland Light Lunch Infantry performed in the very best traditions of the regiment and won the competition! In fact, it took a large number of downhill charges before finally breaking apart.
Is this a bit like the famous cheese rolling?

I guess so! It was something done by my wife who’s from the north and it seems the POTUS does it too.

Well, they were hard boiled so were going to go off at some point anyway but – yes – mixed emotions as they broke apart, haha! Love to see your efforts if you do that next year!

I have put the idea up so we will wait and see how it goes when the organiser ( oldest daughter) gives it the nod đŸ˜‰đŸ˜…

Excellent news, there needs to be an Aussie version.
As for me, I feel like a broken egg – I’ve now got Covid!
